How does Dabble Pick Em work?

Dabble Pick’Em is a fixed-odds player prop betting format and the first of its kind in Australia. This format is super popular in the US with platforms like PrizePicks and Underdog. At its core, you predict whether players will go More or Less than a statistical projection, and each player you choose is called a leg.

All-In Pick’Em bets

Choose between 2 and 12 players and decide if each will go over or under their projection. All legs must win. If even one leg loses, the entire bet is lost. Payouts scale with the number of legs:

If a player doesn’t participate, that leg is voided and removed. If a player gets injured mid-game, the bet still stands.

Hedge Pick’Em bets

Hedge bets require a minimum of 3 legs. They pay out even if some legs lose — but at a lower multiplier. For example, a 3-leg hedge pays 3x if all win and 1.2x if one leg loses. You must select players from at least two opposing teams, and only one statistical category per player is allowed.

How to beat Pick’Em

Although Pick’Em looks like a retail product for casual punters, it actually provides a big edge for smart bettors. Because the fixed payouts imply a specific win rate you need to beat (~53.56% for 3-leg), you can use market pricing to identify legs where the true probability is above this threshold.
